The fight for language is the fundamental battle today—because the truth is obvious but not loved. Euphemistic language and mere legality do not change the fundamental situation. Babies do not become babies when they hit the air outside the womb. It does not take a scientist to recognize what makes a living person and how he acts. Yet, the obfuscation is necessary when sinners love sin more than the creation of God.
The correct language will not sway those hardened to think murder is better than human suffering, yet at least they will be forced to reconcile their thoughts and actions with reality—not a pretend world where everything is as they name it. The consequences of children are real, but the divine repercussions of taking life maliciously, and for the most frivolous of reasons, will surely be frightful and just. —ed.
