Why does Pope Francis prefer to fly with S.A.S.?
He thinks it stands for “South American Socialist.”
For what it’s worth, I think Bergoglio is an antipope and that Benedict XVI was the legitimate one. Since when can the “Vicar of Christ” retire?* That may be why Bergoglio waited until Benedict was safely deceased to do what he’d been planning all along, calling for Christians and Communists to work toward a common mission. You can be sure this was planned years ago.
This despite the fact that Pope Pius XII signed the Decree against Communism, cf. wikipedia’s lead sentence:
“The Decree Against Communism was a 1949 Catholic Church document issued by the Supreme Sacred Congregation of the Holy Office, and approved by Pope Pius XII, which declared Catholics who professed communist doctrine to be excommunicated as apostates from the Christian faith.”
So now Christ is supposed to make common cause with Satan. Kind of reminds me of the abomination of desolation being in the temple of God, though as a Ukrainophile I’m used to that; the apostate Russian Orthodox patriarch allowed portraits of both Putin and Stalin in the Cathedral of the Armed Services in Moscow. One wonders what relatives of Stalin’s twenty million murder victims, including six million Ukrainians, make of that.
But back to Bergoglio. He is and always has been a South American Socialist. Which means what, exactly?
Well, Marx and Lenin used the terms “socialist” and “Communist” interchangeably. For all practical purposes, a socialist is a Communist who doesn’t control all the guns yet. Like Muslims, they plead for tolerance until they control the levers of power, and especially the guns. After that point, if you’re lucky, you get to be taxed to your knees and to do exactly as you’re told instead of being made an example of. Since Lenin dreamed of the day when the last businessman would be hanged on the guts of the last preacher, don’t press your luck. Fight socialism or face slavery. You can vote yourself into socialism but may have to shoot your way out—and by that time, they’ll have the guns, your hostages, and no principles except staying in power.
So now Bergoglio reveals that he is a Communist at heart. Consistent Communists by definition are atheists at best, more likely anti-theists, and in Marx’s case an active Satanist. How does someone like that get to be Pope, or even a priest?
After the shocking Molotov-Ribbentrop pact was signed in 1939, Churchill said that he didn’t understand Communism and famously referred to it as “a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma.” Our Presidents were no better at understanding it. And so American foreign policy continued to make un-strategic retreats until 1965, when a modest paperback saved the world.
I was taking piano lessons at the time from the Methodist minister’s wife. She got a phone call and went into another room. I couldn’t practice while she was on the phone so I got up and looked over the pastor’s bookshelf. I was totally shocked by one of the titles: “You Can Trust the Communists.” I pulled it out and looked at the cover. Under the title it said “To be Communists.” Examined the intro, which said that Communism was like cancer, cholera or cockroaches; you can’t fight them without understanding them. I borrowed the book, then bought thirty copies to distribute. If you haven’t read that book, you don’t understand Communism. It’s still available from various sources, especially schwarzreport.org, which updated it and also has a good free newsletter.
A million people read and shared that book and its ideas, and gradually America made fewer foreign policy mistakes. The mistakes didn’t all stop; we had won the Vietnam war on the battlefield when the Democrats surrendered; but Vietnam and Cambodia were the high-water mark of Communist expansion. The next time they dared to stick up their ugly heads Ronald Reagan smashed them down on the island of Grenada. He then, with the help of John Paul II, Margaret Thatcher and Solidarity, rolled back the Iron Curtain to the boundaries of the Soviet Union and beyond—even to Russia proper. I daresay that Reagan read this book—or at least one of his advisors did.
What does all this have to do with Bergoglio?
Dr. Fred Schwarz, author of the book, explained how Communists operate. They will join any organization, even an officially anti-communist organization like the Catholic Church, and pretend to believe in its goals and principles. They will always be the first to arrive at any meeting and set up the chairs. They are the first to volunteer for thankless tasks and the last ones left to clean up and leave. They will naturally then get nominated and elected to one position after another. Then they will do two things: influence the organization in a direction favorable to socialism, and hire, promote, and protect each other. They pretend to agree with its goals until the day they control it, after which time the gloves and the masks come off.
This is notorious in what’s called the Amchurch, the American Catholic church, which has been taken over by the so-called lavender mafia. [See the book “A Few Good Men.]” An exercise for the student will be to research the Mattachine Society, a 1916 organization of American communist homosexuals who did exactly that to American Catholicism. (The process of moving in and taking over is what is meant by the two technical terms infiltration and subversion.) The homosexualization of the Amchurch’s clergy is not just a result of clerical celibacy, though it’s bad enough in other countries; it is a result of the grand strategy of Communism to corrupt, control and conquer America without firing a shot.
Since the United States has always been the chief obstacle to Communist world conquest, their strategy has been “External encirclement, plus internal demoralization, plus thermonuclear blackmail, equals progressive surrender.” You can see China and Putin doing this today, and it’s going on all over South America.
Demoralization includes things like advancing the homosexual agenda. Bergoglio may be too old to accomplish everything he’d like to, so other ways to demoralize America are sure to come, but inviting Communists to make nice with Catholics and priests to bless homosexual unions are daggers to the chest of Catholcism and Western civilization. Some future pope will probably roll back the ban on abortion, but who knows how long Bergoglio will live? He may offer a sacrament of forgiveness for mothers who abort and even for abortionists. Communists and socialists don’t mind changing direction, even 180 degrees.
And who knows how he got to be Pope, except maybe through the efforts of the Lavender Mafia which may have found something to blackmail Bendecit into resigning over? (I’d like to think it was something one of Benedict’s relatives did, since from our point of view we’ve had several popes recently who weren’t as bad as usual, and Benedict XVI was one of the best.)
Ah, for tae good old days of the Renaissance popes. Even Luther might have been challenged by the kind we’re likely to see from here on out.
*Not that I think the pope is the Vicar of Christ. More like “the man of sin,” II Thessalonians 2. I don’t know why Lutherans refer to the pope as the antichrist, since when the papacy is predicted the word antichrist isn’t used, and when antichrist is used in the Bible it doesn’t refer to the papacy. Of course, antichrist is a good descriptor of the papacy, since popes are both against Christ in the chief article of Christianity, and since “anti” in Greek also means “instead of” and the pope presents himself instead of Christ as the head of the church and necessary for salvation.
